About or how it started

Back in 1990-1995 a Wedico catalogue caught my attention and from this moment i knew: i need one of those trucks myself …

the label itself shows the price in “Österreichischen Schilling”, so long before Austria converted to the Euro € (price today would be around 7 Euro)

several years later finally a Wedico F90 with accessories from Brand & Tokle transforming it into a F2000 set my entry into this hobby …

driving on normal streets got boring, so a more offroad type of vehicle was acquired: a Wedico SK tipper with the drive formula of 8×6 – suspension parts have been purchased from Osswald & Michalik Modellbau

overall i wasnt completely satisfied and a new truck was built from scratch: drive train from Rüst as a 8×8 and the ideal base for a tipper:

the truck supported the construction sites at multiple exhibitions starting from 2007 …

and of course within my local club, which is part of Heizhaus @ Strasshof:

at the same place a DAF truck had its first appearance as well

… to be continued …
